Center for Behavioral Health and Justice welcomes new staff and relocates to the School of Social Work

The start of the fall semester and the University's return to campus brought some exciting changes to the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice (CBHJ) at the Wayne State University School of Social Work. During the University's closure during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, renovations to the School of Social Work were completed, providing students, faculty, and staff with new classrooms, offices, and meeting rooms. This expansion provided space for the CBHJ team to relocate to the first floor of the School of Social Work building from the Prentis Building located a few blocks from the School of Social Work.

Additionally, the CBHJ team has continued to expand as our research initiatives have grown. Over the summer, we welcomed several new team members who will serve in a variety of roles. These new team members play a pivotal role in the CBHJ’s relationship with our stakeholders and our ability to collect and analyze data from across all points of the criminal legal continuum.
