Biography
Sarah is a longtime communications professional with experience across Wayne State University. Before joining the CBHJ, Sarah was the communication and engagement coordinator for the School of Information Sciences where she created and managed content across multiple channels and coordinated events. Before that, she served as an alumni communications officer in Wayne State’s Division of Development and Alumni Affairs for nearly 15 years as editorial assistant and managing editor of the award-winning Wayne State magazine as well as supporting a wide range of communication efforts for the university’s 13 schools and colleges and more than 270,000 alumni.
Responsibilities
Sarah is the Communications Officer for the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice. In collaboration with the Communications Manger, Sarah effectively communicates key findings, policy impacts, and areas of reform to county and state partners through news and social media. Sarah contributes to maintaining the CBHJ's social media platforms and supports the production of the CBHJ’s research products.
