Philip Huynh
Biography
Philip joined the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice team in August of 2019. He previously worked with Brad Ray at the Center for Health and Justice Research at Indiana University’s Public Policy Institute in Indianapolis. His research focuses on substance abuse, health disparities, and harm reduction strategies. His most recent work has included studying the opioid epidemic and improving overdose prevention.
Responsibilities
Philip serves as a senior analyst. His primary role is the cleaning, conditioning, managing, and analysis of multiple data sets from jails, courts, and state-level agencies and developing evaluation plans. In addition to these data responsibilities, he also assists in the writing of manuscripts and government reports and has a leadership role in proposal development.
