Biography

Raven joined the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice as a Program Assistant in March 2023. She graduated from Tiffin University in May 2020 with her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. Prior to joining the CBHJ, Raven worked in the clinical field as a counselor for runaway and homeless youth then moving into the role of clinical outpatient therapist for those suffering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. During her academic career, Raven completed two semester long research projects that sparked her now driven passion for policy reform and social change. Since working in her field, Raven began to develop her passion for working towards social reforms in hopes to aid in systemic changes in both the criminal and social justice systems through research and application.

Responsibilities

Raven currently serves as a program assistant for the Crisis Response initiative. Her responsibilities include coordination, communication, organization, and data collection efforts between CBHJ staff and county partners across the state, as well as coordination and support of meetings and evaluation and research activities at the CBHJ.
