"For the last 5 years I have worked directly with Genesee Health System and our AOT program. My duties during this time has consisted of executing AOT violations to getconsumers that are in crisis connected with the care they need. In April 2022, The Genesee County Sheriff's Office and Genesee Health System partnered to create a coresponse team that pairs a clinician and a deputy together in a patrol car to respond directly to mental health calls. During this time we have had great success in being more proactive in getting those that have 'fallen through the cracks' connected to services including getting some on AOT orders to get out ahead of the next crisis before it begins."
